Volunteer with US

At Unity Shelter, we offer rewarding volunteer opportunities across our programs, with more opportunities to come! 

At Combined Shelter, you can choose from four roles: 

1. Morning Rover Volunteer: Help set up the shelter, assist with wake-up calls, and prepare breakfast. 
2. Greeter Volunteer: Create a welcoming atmosphere while assisting staff with tasks like cleaning and checking in guests. 
3. Meal Service Volunteer: Assist with meal prep, washing dishes, and serving our guests. 
4. Overnight Seeper: Sleep on-site and be a backup if needed for overnight staff

• Our onboarding email will provide all the details you need to get started, including training links for food handlers and trauma-informed care, along with important Unity Shelter policies. After completing all required materials and discussing any questions with us, you’ll be ready to sign up for shifts through our Bloomerang page.
