Rylee Diaz

Rylee is a psychology major at OSU with a strong interest in substance use disorder and those affected by it. Recognizing the connection between mental health, substance use, and homelessness, she was drawn to work with Unity Shelter. After earning her Community Health Worker certification, she began helping individuals navigate the healthcare system to support their mental and physical well-being. This experience deepened her understanding of how mental health challenges, prolonged substance use, and homelessness impact individuals, reinforcing her commitment to this work. Since joining Unity Shelter, Rylee’s passion for serving this community has grown, and she looks forward to continuing her impactful work in the future.
