Luther serves as a SafePlace Ambassador, bringing a deep commitment to community service and public safety. A graduate of Benson High School in 1986, he went on to attend Oregon State University before dedicating 26 years to the Corvallis Police Department. Now, as a SafePlace Ambassador, he applies his extensive background to fostering a welcoming and secure environment for those in need of shelter and support. His passion for service, combined with his firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, makes him a key advocate in Unity Shelter’s mission to provide stability and dignity for all. Outside of his work, Luther is a proud father of three and values time spent with his family and community.
