Ashley is an Instructor in the College of Health at Oregon State University. Ashley has been for many years an educator in both school and community-based settings in rural Idaho, Philadelphia, PA, Newark, NJ, Detroit, MI, and now Corvallis, OR. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with a range of community-based organizations, a broad cross-section of community members, and other key community stakeholders and rightsholders. She strongly believes that when we take action to support public health issues like quality education and safe housing, we form the basis of a functioning society by supporting vibrant communities and long-lasting good health for everyone.
Beyond her academic and community-engaged work, Ashley loves hiking, fly fishing, and trying out new recipes to share a meal with friends and loved ones.
