Angela Koning, LPC

Board Member

Angela Koning is a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor with over 35 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities in their growth and healing. 

She has a lengthy background in nonprofit agencies, therapeutic programming, dual diagnosis treatment, addiction recovery, and residential care. 

Guided by a trauma informed client- centered approach, and harm reduction strategies, Angela is committed to meeting individuals where they are and fostering empowerment through compassionate care. 

Currently in private practice in Corvallis, Oregon, she also serves on the Unity Shelter Board and as the Clinical Lead for the Street Medicine outreach team. 

In her down time, Angela is often found running off in to the woods or engaging in the local arts community.
